Dilip Kumar was reportedly hospitalised on Wednesday evening. The actor, 94, was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai after suffering dehydration. His wife, Saira Banu, accompanied him to the hospital.
According to the latest reports, the veteran actor is battling kidney dysfunction and has been shifted to the ICU.

The facility’s CEO, Ravishankar, had earlier told media that Dilip was “stable” at present. Ajay Pande, Vice-President of the hospital, had said that the actor was suffering from a series of age-related ailments and that he needed regular medical intervention.
The veteran actor is said to have some kidney-related issues and the doctors are closely monitoring his condition.
Earlier this year, the actor fell prey to a death hoax. An official statement was released from the actor on his social media account for the rumours about his health to die down.
