Director Faasil has filed a complaint with the police to investigate an online campaign that sought to cast actors and actresses for a film based on his son, actor Fahadh’s life.
Faasil and Fahadh both claim that they had no prior knowledge of the project. They also said that they were not approached for permission.
The online campaign requests young actors who look like Fahadh to send their photos to an email ID. Reportedly, two actors have already been cast for the film.

The Superintendent of Police, VM Mohammed Rafique, has reportedly promised to look into the matter.
