Director Kalanjiyam met with an accident recently, suffering injuries on his neck. Kalanjiyam was on his way to a wedding in Ongole when the car he was travelling in toppled off the road.
An assistant director who was travelling with Kalanjiyam was killed while another person sustained severe injuries.
The filmmaker has now been discharged from the hospital.
