Director Pradeep Ranganathan has been receiving a lot of praise for his debut film Comali starring Jayam Ravi, Kajal Aggarwal, Samyuktha Hegde and Yogi Babu. The film produced by Ishari K Ganesh under Vels Film International has entered its sixth week and is standing strong at the box office. Their previous venture LKG starring R.J Balaji and Priya Anand also made good revenue.
Pradeep was recently gifted a Honda City car while the rest of the crew members of Comali were given gold coins by Ishari K Ganesh as a token of gratitude. Prabhu, director of LKG was also gifted a car for the success of his film.

Meanwhile, Vels Film International has bankrolled three films after Comali; Puppy starring actors Varun and Yogi Babu, actor Jiiva’s Seeru and Mirchi Shiva’s Sumo. The three films are slated for release this year.

Jayam Ravi will next be seen in Bogan fame director Lakshman’s next, alongside Nidhhi Agerwal and Manithan fame director Ahmed’s next, alongside Taapsee. Speculations are rife that he’s also a part of director Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan which is currently in its pre-production stage.
