Director Saravanan, who made films like Engeyum Eppodhum, Ivan Vera Madhiri and Valiyavan, survived a car accident near Perambalur today. Saravanan, along with his brother-in-law Gautham, who also happens to be an Assistant Director, were on the way to their native village in Namakkal District when the accident happened.
The car, driven by Saravanan had apparently hit a median on the highway, resulting in minor injuries to Saravanan and Gautham. They were rushed to the Perambalur Governement Hospital where they are currently recovering from their injuries.
