The songs in the album have minimalist music and are dominated by strong lyrics. All six songs hold a special meaning for the party. The first song, ‘Tamizhnaatin thalaiyezhuthellam maarapogudhu’ is more like a campaign song, while ‘Maiam, Idhu Makkal Needhi Maiam’ talks about the party agenda and its welfare schemes and ‘Aalavandhan Aalaporan’ is more in praise for its leader Kamal Haasan. The fourth song talks about eradicating corruption, while the fifth song ‘Naatu Nadapu Sari illa’ reflects on the current political scene, seeking involvement of people.

All the songs have a strong folk influence, with the sounds of ‘urumi melams’ and other folk instruments. Composer Taj Noor has even used EDM beats and have incorporated a lot of 90s style of music.

While addressing the gathering, Kamal said, “Nammavar does not only mean me, but includes each and every one of you.” He also urged his supporters not to put up posters, cutouts or banners on the road without seeking proper permission. To which Snehan quipped, “It is his (Kamal Haasan) policy to always live according to the law.”

The album was distributed to a few Chennai-based social activists. Kamal said that he has great admiration for Periyar Ramasamy and Mahatma Gandhi. “Don’t search for the Mahatma in the Parliament, you will not find one. You will find only old frogs there. Search for the Mahatma on the roads, you will surely find one,” he added.

Kamal stated that change cannot come from one person, he needs the support of his people. Talking about the cash for votes practice, “Don’t sell your rights for a few thousands and suffer the losses for the next five years.”

After being recognised by the Election Commission, the party got a donation of Rs 1 lakh from workers of two industries in Puducherry. “We will openly show the money we receive from donors. Whenever the government’s treasury gets empty, it is us taxpayers who bear the brunt of it, but this fund will be given back to them,” said Kamal.
