Music composer Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) has returned to India after his month-long concert tours in the United States of America. In a statement, the music director thanked a host of people, who facilitated the tour and helped him in many ways. DSP said, “The happiest moment for any musician is performing in front of amazing fans who fill our ears and hearts with reverberating cheering applause. I felt that experience when I toured the US for my music concerts. I was stunned, when I saw the tremendous reception and wide coverage that people gave for my concerts.”
DSP revealed that Pat Quinn, the governor of the State of Illinois, has confirmed that July 26 will be observed as ‘DSP Day’, in honour of DSP and to acknowledge his contribution to the world of music.
In the same statement, DSP mentioned that he has worked on a tribute to Michael Jackson. Titled “DSP’s MJ – Jalsa’, the video will be available in his official YouTube channel on August 29, Michael Jackson’s birthday.
