Actor Vishnu Manchu’s Dynamite, which releases in cinemas this Friday, will have a worldwide release in a number of countries, including the USA, UK, UAE and Nepal. In fact, the premier show in the USA will be held on September 3, a day prior to the India release. According to Raj K of the USA branch of 24 Frames Factory, American theatre owners are looking forward to the release of the Telugu film, as there has been a recent wave of positivity for Telugu movies overseas. 2015 has been a record breaking year for Telugu films with both Srimanthudu and Baahubali: The Beginning grossing well over $2 million at the US box office. Raj further said, “Dynamite is an absolute family entertainer with global appeal. Vishnu’s films have done very well in the overseas market and we are confident that Dynamite will create a new overseas box office record for our production house.”
The film, directed by Deva Katta and produced by 24 Frames Factory, is an action-romance with the two leads, Pranitha Subash and Vishnu Manchu, performing their own stunts. Dynamite is a remake of the Tamil film Arima Nambi, which was Anand Shankar’s debut directorial, and revolved around a kidnapping and the subsequent unravelling of a conspiracy involving politicians and police officers. According to HansIndia, Vishnu’s character in Dynamite will have a “close connection” with Deva Katta’s life. Vishnu will also reportedly sport a tattoo and an ear ring in the film.
