Actor Vadivelu’s upcoming film, Eli, has been given a U certificate by the Censor Board. The movie’s PRO took to Twitter to announce the news and the final runtime of the movie is slightly over two-and-a-half hours. In a press meet which was held earlier this month, actor Vadivelu himself announced that the movie will hit theatres by the end of May.

When we reached the movie’s PRO regarding the release date, he said that the team has applied for tax exemption, after which the release date will be finalized.
However, no official news about the release has been announced till now.
Director Yuvaraj Dhayalan is joining hands with actor Vadivelu for the second time in Eli after Jagajala Pujabala Tenaliraman. Actress Sadha will be playing the female lead in this movie alongside Pradeep Rawat, Kitty, Adhitya, Mahanadhi Shankar, Santhana Bharathi, Raj Kapoor and Muthu Kaalai in supporting roles. Produced by City Cine Creations, Eli has music scored by Vidyasagar.
