The lyric videos of the much awaited Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0, directed by Shankar was unveiled on Youtube Saturday morning. The film features music composed by AR Rahman, on lyrics written by Madhan Karky.
While the posters for the film were released on Friday, the videos were released this morning by Lyca productions.

The poster shows Rajinikanth and Amy Jackson in an alien-esque avatar, and Akshay Kumar as a bird-man villain. The film’s teaser which was released a month back wowed the audience with its extravagant visuals and much-appreciated VFX. The film is said to have over a 1000 VFX shots, created by 15 top studios in Hollywood. Over 3000 people worked on the film’s VFX across the world simultaneously.
2.0 is the sequel to the 2010 hit Endhiran, and is reported to have cost over Rs 500 crore. The coming together of Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth is a big draw for viewers. The makers were initially looking at a Deepavali 2017 release, but the movie has seen a slew of postponements, apparently due to the extensive use of visual effects. It is finally slated to be released on November 29.
Produced by Lyca Productions, the science fiction film is India’s most expensive film to date and the second-costliest film in Asia. It is also India’s first film to be shot directly with 3D cameras.
