Director Abhishek Kapoor of Rock On fame has been sent a legal notice by leading studio Eros International for failing to refund an advance payment of Rs 60 lakh that was paid in 2010 for directing a movie starring Ranbir Kapoor.
Reportedly, the director initially asked for Rs 2.50 crore as his directorial fee, but later demanded double the amount.
This isn”t the first time the director has landed in legal tangle. Recently, he had filed a case against Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment for not giving him script credit in the sequel of ‘Rock On’.
