President G Siva of Film Employees’ Federation of South India has cancelled all shoots tomorrow, following MS Viswanathan’s death. The composer breathed his last early this morning at around 4.30 am. Celebrities including Rajinikanth, Y Gee Mahendra, AVM Saravanan, Prabhu, Nithyashree, S Janaki, Dhamu, T Rajendar, Seerkazhi Sivachidambaram, Deva, Srikanth Deva, politician M K Stalin, and actor Sivakumar paid their last respects to the legend.
MS Viswanathan’s funeral will take place in Besant Nagar tomorrow morning. He is survived by four sons and three daughters. The final rites will begin as soon as his son Prakash lands in Chennai from Dubai. MS Viswanathan’s mortal remains have been kept for public viewing at his residence in Santhome.
MS Viswanathan had been battling age-related illnesses for over a month at a private hospital in Chennai.
