Recommended

Prabhakar Sharan has the distinction of being the first Indian star ever to act in a Latin American production. The film, titled Enredados: La Confusion, is also the first Latin American film made as a musical, typical of most Indian films. The project has been short entirely in Spanish, but in a nod to its lead’s Indian heritage, the film will be dubbed in Hindi and released for audiences in India and the United States. Interestingly, Sharan plays a Costa Rican in the movie.

Nancy Dobles, a TV hostess, makes her lead acting debut with this film that also features Mario Chacon and Jose Castro. Wrestling champion Scott Steiner has a cameo in this film.

Directed by Ashish Mohan, whose claim to fame is the Bollywood film Khiladi 786, the film will be unveiled on February 9 in Costa Rica. The President of the country will be the chief guest for the event.

Sharan, who hails from Bihar, moved to Costa Rica in the late nineties.
