Now, it’s Karthi’s turn to reveal the first look of his upcoming movie, Madras, on his birthday (after actor Vijay’s Kaththi that is). Directed by P Ranjith of Attakathi fame, the teaser and first look of the flick will be revealed on May 25, which also happens to be Karthi’s birthday. Also, we can now confirm that the movie will indeed be called Madras; what with names like Kaali and Kabali (we quite like this one) being bandied about earlier.
Set in North Madras, the flick has Catherine Tresa playing the female lead; and is produced by Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green. Santhosh Narayanan, who debuted in Attakathi, will compose music for this project as well.
