The first look poster of Siddharth’s film Aruvam released on Monday. This is his next horror-thriller after Aval, which was directed by Milind Rau.

Starring Siddharth and Catherine Tresa in lead roles, the film is about investigating and proving supernatural happenings. After releasing the first-look poster, the film’s team said in a press statement, “We were conscious to do justice to the first look-poster of Aruvam. We wanted to give the best impression with our first impression.”
About the title, the film’s debut director Sai Shekar said, “The title Aruvam says that the film is horror. Aruvam is the opposite of Uruvam. We speak about supernatural things that no one wants to believe, but they happen around us. It feels good to direct this film, especially with Siddharth, who appeals to a pan-India audiences.”

Produced by R Ravindran under the banner Trident Arts, the film stars Kabir Dugan Singh, Madhusudhana Rao, Stunt Silva and Poster Nandakumar as antagonists. Actors Sathish, Aadukalam Narain, Kumaravel and Mayilsamy have pivotal roles.
Music for the film is by SS Thaman, cinematography is by N.K. Ekhambaram. National Award winner Praveen KL is the editor, G Durairaj is the art director. Apart from playing one of the villains, Stunt Silva is the choreographer of action sequences in the film.
Siddharth was last seen in Kammara Sambhavam, a satirical thriller in Malayalam directed by Rathish Ambat. He is also working on the Tamil action comedy Shaitan Ka Bachcha, directed by Karthik G Krish. It stars Raashi Khanna in the lead, with Vamsi Krishna and Yogi Babu playing other roles.
