Forbes’ Highest Paid Actors 2017: Mark Wahlberg On Top; SRK, Salman Khan And Akshay Kumar in The List Too

Mark Wahlberg has made it to Forbes‘ list of Highest Paid Actors, beating Dwayne Johnson. The actor has reportedly made $68 million in the past year.

Baywatch actor Dwayne Johnson, on the other hand, beat Fast And Furious actor Vin Diesel. The two made $65 million and $54.5 million respectively. 

On fourth and fifth places were Adam Sandler with $50.5 million, and Jackie Chan with $49 million.

Bollywood actors made the cut, too. Forbes‘ list includes Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. 

Shah Rukh Khan, ranked eight, occupies the same position as last year. His stated earnings have risen from $33 million in 2016 to $38 million in 2017, owing to various endorsement deals and films – Raees and Jab Harry Met Sejal.

In ninth place is Salman Khan (placed 14 last year), who earned $37 million this year, compared to last year’s $28.5 million. 

Akshay Kumar is ranked 10, with $35.5 million. He made $31.5 million last year. Forbes calls him the “king of Bollywood box office for over a quarter of century”, especially considering his latest film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, has made over Rs 100 crore.

Other actors in the list are Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Ryan Reynolds, Chris Pratt and Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Ryan Gosling and Samuel L Jackson.
