Debutant director Sujana Rao released the first look poster of actors Priyanka Jawalkar and Shiva Kandukurri, as Zara and Ali respectively in her anthology film Gamanam.
The filmmaker released the poster on Monday. Besides Telugu, the film will release in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Gamanam is written and directed by Sujana Rao. In the poster, Shiva Kandukurri is seen wearing a cricket jersey, with a batsman taking a shot in the background.
Sai Madhav Burra has written the dialogues while Ilayaraja has composed music. The film will be bankrolled under the production banners of Kria Film Corp and Kali productions.
Speaking to The Hyderabad Times, Rao revealed that the film is an anthology of three different storylines. Shriya Saran will headline one of the stories while Priyanka and Shiva will head the other two. Nithya Menen has a cameo role.
The poster revealed the character of actor Shriya Saran in the film. The poster was revealed by director Krish on the actor’s birthday. He had earlier worked with Shriya Saran in period drama Gautamiputra Satakarni.

The first look of actor Nithya Menen was revealed by actor Sharwanand on his Twitter page, in which she was seen as a Carnatic singer named Shailaputri Devi. The actor will appear in a cameo role. Sharwanand, while revealing the poster on Twitter, had said: “Introducing @MenenNithya as singer #ShailaputriDevi from #GAMANAM. Best wishes to @gnanashekarvs and the entire team.”
Jawalkar had earlier revealed in a Q&A session conducted on social media that the film might hit the screen this month.
