Earlier, Shroff had announced two of his upcoming films, Heropanti 2 and Baaghi 4.
A couple of weeks ago, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainments made the announcement on Twitter by sharing a picture of the actor and makers and wrote that Shroff will be starring in both Heropanti 2 and Baaghi 4, both of which will be directed by Ahmed Khan.
Heropanti 2 will be a sequel to the romantic action film Heropanti which was directed by Sabbir Khan and released in 2014. Heropanti was also Shroff’s debut film. The actor-director duo has worked together in all the Baaghi series, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Disha Patani in the lead roles.
Actor Tara Sutaria will play the lead role opposite Shroff in Nadiadwala‘s upcoming Heropanti 2, marking the second collaboration for both the actors after Punit Malhotra’s teen romantic drama Student Of The Year 2, co-starring Ananya Panday. Produced by Dharma Productions, Student of the Year 2 was the debut film of both Sutaria as well as Panday.
Bahl, who rose to fame with his critically acclaimed film Queen (2014), last worked on Super 30 (2019), starring Hrithik Roshan. As a co-prodcer, he has worked on Udta Punjab (starring Alia Bhatt, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh), Lootera (starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha), Anushka Sharma‘s NH10, Rajkummar Rao‘s Trapped, among others.
