“During the Jallikattu protests, I released a song called ‘Kombu Vechcha Singam da’. It got good reach and was an inspiration for the youth who spent day and night crusading for a good cause. When I heard of the protests against the Hydrocarbon project in Neduvaasal, I immediately began work on ‘Thyaagam Seivom’. I did not do it for the buzz or the appreciation. I want to use my talent and my voice and help the people of TN reclaim their rights. I will try to help in any way I can and I will never be afraid of threats.”

The actor has eight films in hand, all in various stages of production. He is currently awaiting the release of his next movie, Bruce Lee which has been directed by Prashanth Pandiaraj. The movie will see him opposite Kriti Karbhanda and is said to be an entertainer.

He will also be seen in Jyothika starrer Naachiyar. He is said to play a negative character in this project directed by Bala.
