Kamal Prakash, the director of the famous short film Highway Kaadhali, will soon make his first feature film with GV Prakash and Raiza Wilson in the lead. The filmmakers have called it a fantasy horror. Its tagline reads, “A film for morattu singles.”

A pooja to inaugurate the film happened yesterday. Shoot will begin on February 1. TNIE reports that the makers are planning a 40 day shoot in one stretch to wrap the film by the end of March.
The director said about the film, “The lead character is a middle-class guy working in Bengaluru, who has been single all his life. He keeps longing for a relationship, and finally falls in love with a girl in a fantasy situation, during a journey to Coonoor. The story revolves around the couple’s travel through a single night.”
He further said, “I strongly believed that GV Prakash would be the best person to play the role. We wanted a fresh and interesting lead pair for the film. So we thought of casting Raiza as the female lead. I loved her performance in Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, and she also wanted to be a part of a unique script.”

The film also stars Ramar, of Kalakkapovathu Yaaru fame, Anand Raj, and Senthil in important roles. Guru Somasundaram is the antagonist. The Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu star Shah Ra will be seen.
GV Prakash composes music for the film. Cinematography is by Venkatesh S, who has worked on Tik Tik Tik, Miruthan and Kodi. Shiva of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru fame is the editor. Kamalji is the art director. Stunts are by Don Ashok.
The yet to be titled film is produced by Auraa Cinemas, the distribution house that ventured into production with Arasiyalla Ithellam Saatharanampa. Their next production 100, directed by Sam Anton, starring Atharva and Hansika in the lead, is gearing up for release.
