GV Prakash, who composes music for Vetrimaaran’s Dhanush starrer Asuran, is set to reunite with his longtime collaborator lyricist Egadesi. The duo will be working on a few tracks for the movie.
Both Egadesi and GV Prakash have collaborated to give birth to Otha Sollala from Aadukalam, yet another Vetrimaran film. GV Prakash, who took to Twitter to share the news, termed it his favourite collaboration. He also said that the audio work for the movie was in progress.

It was reported last week that the composer had completed two songs for the film. Talking to Silverscreen, the music composer turned actor had said that it was too early to talk about the audio of the film.
Dhanush and GV Prakash are working together 8 years after their previous film Aadukulam. The movie had lead to an unknown rift between them, but things have settled now. Asuran by Vetrimaaran is based on Tamil writer Poomani’s novel Vekkai, which is about a son avenging his father’s death. If work on Asuran goes as planned, the movie will release this summer.

GV Prakash is busy with many projects under production. He has acted and composed for Kuppathu Raja, that released last week. ‘Enga Area Engaludhu’, a dance song from the film had become a hit when it released. The film has been in production for the last two years, and marks the directorial debut of Bala Bhaskar. Parthiban and Palak Lalwani also star in the lead.
GV Prakash also plays the lead in Watchman that releases tomorrow. Directed by AL Vijay, the film is about a sales boy whose life turns around when he finds himself in a life-threatening situation one night. GV Prakash has the much-awaited Jail by Vasantha Balan. Ayngaran, Adangathey, 4G, 100% Kaadhal are his other acting-composing projects under production.
GV Prakash recently announced that he will be starring with Siddharth in Sivappu Manjal Pachai, which has music by Siddhu Kumar. Shooting for the film is currently underway.
