Politician and director Seeman will direct music composer and actor GV Prakash in Kobam, reported the magazine Ananda Vikatan. The film will go on floors once Seeman finishes work on his other film, Pagalavan, with another music composer and actor, Vijay Antony. As yet, Seeman has been unavailable for comment.
Seeman, who last directed Vaazhthugal in 2008, is looking to direct two films this year. The planned film with GV Prakash is likely to be a political thriller, with the director taking inspiration from his own political experience.

Meanwhile, GV Prakash has a number of projects in the pipeline, including Kuppathu Raja, which also stars actor-filmmaker R Parthiepan in a pivotal role, Adangathey, Sarvam Thaala Maayam, Bala’s Naachiyaar, Sema, Ayngaran, and an untitled Vetri Maaran film. He will also team up with director Ezhil for a remake of the Telugu movie, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, which is expected to go on floors soon.
