Ravi Arasu, who made his directorial debut with Atharvaa’s Eetti, will team up with GV Prakash Kumar for his next film. The film will be produced by B Ganesh of Common Man Pictures, who previously produced Vijay Sethupathi’s Orange Mittai and Rekka.
Talking about the film, Ravi Arasu tells Silverscreen. “Eetti was a good commercial hit, and gave Atharvaa a break. I took a good time of six months to come up with this script. It will portray GV Prakash in a role different from what we have seen so far. I will be retaining most of the technical crew from Eetti, and we are in search of a lead actress for the film.”

Eetti was a sports action film starring Atharvaa and Sri Divya in the lead roles. The film followed an athlete suffering from a bleeding disorder (Atharvaa) and the struggles he faced on his way to the top. This as-yet-untitled GV Prakash project will go on floors in January next year.
GV Prakash, arguably the most busiest actor in Kollywood today, has a number of projects scheduled for next year. The actor has Adangathey by director Shanmugam Muthusamy, 4G directed by Venkat Pakkar, a film with Pandiraj, another directed by Sasi where he co-stars with Siddharth, and a film with director Rambala.
