Haiku, directed by Pandiraj, will be undergoing a change of title.The title ‘Haiku‘, which refers to short Japanese poems, was considered as the perfect title for the film which revolves around children. But now the makers have decided to change the title since Haiku is not a Tamil term, and hence, the film may not get an entertainment tax exemption from the government of Tamil Nadu. Director Pandiraj took to Twitter to make the announcement :

He even asked fans to give their suggestions for a suitable title.

Haiku stars actors Karthik Kumar and Bindu Madhavi in the lead roles along with Vidya, Ramadoss, Master Nishesh and Baby Vaishnavi in key roles. Suriya and Amala Paul make special appearances in the film. Produced by Suriya’s 2D Entertainement, Haiku has camera cranked by Balasubramaniem and music by Arrol Corelli.
