Actress Hansika Motwani will team up with Prabhu Deva for a new film. Titled Gulebagavali, the film is a black comedy with the likes of Revathy, Mansoor Ali Khan in pivotal roles. The film takes its name from an MGR film that released in 1955.
The actress confirmed her involvement in the film through a series of tweets on her official social media account:

A spokesperson for the actress told Silverscreen, “We basically wanted to create curiosity for her next project. ”
Kalyaan (of Kadha Solla Porom fame) is at the helm of this film that is produced by KJR Studios. Anand Kumar is the cinematographer while Peter Hein will take care of the stunts. The first schedule of the project is currently underway in Chennai. According to reports, the team hopes to fly to Bangkok for the final schedule. The project has both period and contemporary portions, and is being made on an extensive budget.
This is the third such collaboration between Hansika and Prabhu Deva. The actress was a part of Prabhu Deva’s directorial Engeyum Kaadhal and Bogan (that was produced by Prabhu Deva Studios) previously.
