The film is produced by Burugu Ramya Prabhakar, under the banner Vaishnavi Arts and directed by filmmaker Srinivas Omkar. The technical crew consists of Mark Robin, who has composed three songs, and Chotai K Prasad, as the editor.

Speaking to Silverscreen India about the film, Srinivas said, “There are about 4-5 lakhs of women who go missing in India, and there are several reasons for it. While a few include, sex trafficking and organ mafia, one of them also includes the skin mafia. About 10-15 percent of women are trapped for the skin trade. In this film, Hansika plays a working woman who is also trapped in this problem. How she comes out of this problem, while saving other women along with her, forms the main crux of the film.”

Srinivas, who has also written the suspense thriller, said that he has followed a non-linear screenplay for the film. “I had started to write this script, back in 2014. Most of the background research was done by speaking to doctors and scavenging through newspaper articles about the skin trade,” he added.
