At a press meet held recently, actor Vishal, who had teamed up with director Hari for Poojai, said, “Hari is an MGR among directors.” The duo had earlier worked together for Thamirabharani in 2007. “We had to wait for seven years to do another movie. Having worked with him in two projects, I know what Hari thinks when he makes a film. Like MGR, he also aims to satisfy audience of all centres.” Vishal also observed that Hari doesn’t experiment. “But he is an expert at packaging a film. His movies are wholesome entertainers.”
Terming Poojai the biggest release of his career, Vishal said, “The flick will release in 350 screens in Tamil Nadu. I am able to release it in a grand way only because of the trust that I have in Hari, and the film.”
Poojai, Vishal’s third film as a producer, will hit theatres on October 22. The flick features Shruti Haasan and Sathyaraj. Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed music.
