The latest report to do the rounds about Rajinikanth-starrer Kaala is that Huma Qureshi will not be playing his love interest in the movie. The Jolly LLB 2 actress marks her Tamil debut with Kaala.

According to an IANS report, Rajinikanth will be seen romancing Telugu actress Eashwari Rao in the movie, while Huma will be seen in a prominent role as Zareena.
The report quotes a source as saying that Huma’s character helps Rajini take on Nana Patekar, who plays a ruthless politician in the movie.
Kaala will portray the 66-year-old superstar as a slum lord-turned-gangster. It is Rajini’s second movie with director Pa Ranjith after Kabali, and also stars Anjali Patil, Pankaj Tripathi and Samuthirakani.
Dhanush bankrolls Kaala.
