Music director Ilaiyaraaja will be composing the background score for director Manikandan’s next film, Kuttrame Thandanai. According to sources, the composer was very impressed with the script and will begin work shortly. The film is a crime thriller without any songs, and needs a powerful background score.
Kuttrame Thandanai stars Vidharth and Aishwarya Rajesh, and was being shot even before Manikandan’s critically acclaimed Kaakka Muttai had released. After Kaakka Muttai’s success, Manikandan has expressed concerns about Kuttrame Thandanai matching up to expectations created by Kaakka Muttai.
After Kuttrame Thandanai, the director will begin work on his third film. Actor Vijay Sethupathi has been approached to play the male lead for this film.
