Ilaiyaraaja has composed for his 1001 movie , a Tamil – Hindi bilingual. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, it is a remake of his successful Marathi movie Kaksparsh. Actor Arvind Swamy plays the male lead in the flick and his role is that of an ‘idealistic patriarch’ of a Brahmin family. The yet untitled project deals with widow remarriage and will see Vaidehi Parashurami playing a young widow. The shooting has been completed and the film is in post production now. The music will be launched sometime soon, said the spokesperson for Mahesh Manjrekar.
