Actor Suriya, the hero of Singam 3, has revealed that his character will finally marry in the latest instalment. In a DC interview, Suriya said, “Yes, in the third part, I finally marry Anushka. But, Hari sir has dealt with the wedding in an interesting and entertaining way.”
He also revealed that the plot of this film will deal with real-life incidents. “The film is set with Vizag as the backdrop. It is based on a real-life incident that took place at Vizag when NTR and MGR were the chief ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu respectively. MGR came forward to extend help and sent a police force to Andhra to unravel the truth. Irrespective of the character that is given to me, I feel it is my responsibility to make it real.”
He added: “The third part has the same characters and the same team from Singam. Many interesting elements have been added, but the format is the same.”

Suriya was supposed to work with Gautham Menon after SIII, but the project never took off. “After SIII, I was supposed to work with Gautham. But due to various reasons, it didn’t materialise. It will happen in future. As far as Bala sir is concerned, he is keen to do a film with Jo first. I hope to work with him soon.”
The actor is now filming Vignesh Shivan’s Thaana Serndha Koottam. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead in this film.
Singam III has Suriya, Anushka Shetty, Shruti Haasan in lead roles. Directed by Hari, the film has music by Harris Jayaraj, and features Anoop Singh Thakur as the villain.
