Director Ashwin, who debuted with Maya, has titled his next – Iravaakalam. Said to be a romantic thriller, the film will see Sshivada and Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi share screenspace with actor SJ Suryah.

In a recent interview, SJ Suryah said that he was excited to work with the director. “Ashwin is a trendy director and he has already given a hit with Nayanthara. I am excited to work on this project,” he said.
The music will be composed by Ron Yohann, who made his composing debut with Maya. The editing will be done by Prasanna GK while Murali Ramaswamy takes care of the financing aspects of the project.
