Actor Irrfan Khan, who was approached by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to play the lead in his next Hindi film, Gustakhiyan, has rubbished rumours that he’d exited the project. “I was approached for the film two years ago, and there has been no talk about the film after that. As the dates have not been discussed yet, there need not be a question of me not having time for the film. I am not sure where these rumours come from,” Irrfan told Mumbai Mirror.
Director Bhansali has plans to begin work on this movie after wrapping up Padmavati with Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.
Irrfan is currently shooting in New York City for his Hollywood project, Puzzle.
