Actor Irrfan Khan is suffering from a ‘rare disease’, the details of which he would reveal when the diagnosis is conclusive. Taking to Twitter on Monday evening, Irrfan spoke about ‘being woken up with a jolt’, and how, while he was on the lookout for a rare story, he ended up with a rare disease and is currently battling it.
He also asked people not to speculate and said that he will share his story within a week. Vague as it may seem, his note appeared to be related to something he tweeted on February 21, about going from ‘black male to yellow male’. Reports suggested that he may have contracted jaundice. Incidentally, Blackmail is the name of his upcoming film with Abhinay Deo, scheduled for an April release.

His latest note, however, doesn’t confirm that it might be jaundice.

Earlier, a Hindustan Times article reported that a Vishal Bhardwaj film based on mafia kingpin Sapna Didi, was postponed after its lead actors – Deepika Padukone and Irrfan – fell ill. While Irrfan was said to have jaundice, Deepika had back ache.
