Is Reshma Pasupuleti From ‘Bigg Boss’ A Part of Ajith-H Vinoth’s Next?

Actress and Bigg Boss 3 contestant Reshma Pasupuleti is reportedly in talks for Ajith’s next, directed by H Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor.

Sources close to the film say that the cast has not been finalised yet and an official announcement must be awaited. The film is likely to be launched with a pooja on August 29.

Reshma began her career as an anchor and starred with Ramya Krishnan in the TV serial Vamsam. In 2015, she acted in Masala Padam, and was later seen in many films including Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran and Ko 2. She was part of Bigg Boss Season 3, and was known for maintaining her cool on the show. She was the fifth contestant to be evicted recently.

Meanwhile, director H Vinoth’s Ajith and Shraddha Srinath-starrer Nerkonda Paarvai is running to packed houses in theatres. At the premiere of the film in Singapore this month, producer Boney Kapoor announced that their next film, tentatively titled Thala 60, will go on floors by August end. He said further details will be announced after the launch.

Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is said to have to signed up for music, and Arun Vijay is reportedly in talks to play the antagonist. He previously starred with Ajith in Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal. Bollywood actress Jhanvi Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor and late actress Sridevi, may also make her Tamil debut with this film. This is yet to be confirmed.

Director Vinoth has revealed that the film is a commercial action-entertainer, and some speculate that Ajith plays a racer in the movie. In an interview to DNA, Boney Kapoor had said, “I was pleasantly surprised to know about Ajith’s passion for racing and other sports. It was only natural that our next project together is a thriller that uses his passion for speed.”

Boney Kapoor also revealed that while he would love to work with Ajith on a third Hindi film, the actor has not give his confirmation yet.

Ajith and Boney Kapoor have been associated since the actor played a cameo role in the Tamil version of Sridevi’s English Vinglish. Nerkonda Paarvai was made as a dedication to her.
