Directed by Rajaraman, Veera will be produced by Elred Kumar under his own banner, RS Infotainment. Earlier, Bobby Simha had been announced as the male the lead, with Bala Saravanan playing a key role. But Simhaa eventually walked out of the film, citing schedule conflicts. Vishnu Vishal was brought in as a replacement, and Karunakaran stepped in for Balasaravanan. However, by the time the movie began production earlier this year, Kreshna had replaced Vishnu Vishal as the male lead. Actors Mottai Rajendran, Thambi Ramaiah also have major roles in the film.
Music composer Leon James (Ko, Kaanchana 2) will be in charge of the music. Vignesh will handle cinematography, while TS Suresh has been roped in to edit the project. Bakkiyam Shankar has written the story for Veera.
Iswarya made her debut with a small role in Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi, starring Siddharth and Amala Paul. She was cast as Hansika Motwani’s friend in Theeya Velai Seyyanum Kumaru, which released in Telugu as Something Something.
Iswarya went on to act in the Kannada remake of Yaamirukka Bayamey – Namo Bhoothatma, and Dasavala with actor Prem. She made her Malayalam language debut opposite Fahaadh Faasil in this year’s Monsoon Mangoes.
