Jacqueline Fernandez And Yami Gautam Join The Cast Of Pavan Kirpalani’s ‘Bhoot Police’ Starring Saif Ali Khan And Arjun Kapoor

A few days back, it was announced that actors Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor will be teaming up for a horror-adventure comedy titled Bhoot Police helmed by Ragini MMS fame director Pavan Kirpalani. The latest is that Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam have joined the lead cast of the film.

The film is being bankrolled by Ramesh Taurani under his Tips Industries Ltd banner and Akshai Puri with 12th Street Entertainment backing the project too.

Tips Films & Music announced the same on Twitter.

Talking about the female leads, producer Ramesh Taurani said, “From the beginning, we were keen on having Jacqueline and Yami join the team for this film. They are both amazing artists and we are extremely happy to have them on board.”

The team has reportedly begun work on the film, which will be largely shot across Dharamsala, Dalhousie, and Palampur. Speaking about this, Ramesh said, “We are consulting experts to plan the safety measures for the team. We aim to wrap 80 percent of the film during the outdoor schedules. The remaining portions will be shot at a set in Mumbai.”

Producer Akshai Puri said, “We are elated to have Yami and Jacqueline on board for this exciting journey of Bhoot Police. We have a dynamic young team and all are super excited to start the shoot soon.”

Director Pavan Kirpalani who is looking forward to working with the female leads said, “This will be my first collaboration with the entire cast. We need someone to add the craziness to this fun-filled entertainer and both of them will definitely add this magic to the script.”

He added, “The script has gone through several changes after Ramesh ji and Akshai got on board. Saif, Arjun, Jacqueline, and Yami perfectly complement each other in the film.”

Bhoot Police will reportedly commence with the shoot at the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Yami who was last seen in Amar Kaushik‘s Bala will next feature in Puneet Khanna’s Ginny Weds Sunny which will directly premiere on Netflix soon. Jacqueline Fernandez who was last seen in Shirish Kunder’s Netflix original Mrs. Serial Killer and alongside Salman Khan in his music video ‘Tere Bina’ will next feature in Lakshya Raj Anand‘s AttackSajid Nadiadwala‘s Kick 2, and in Prabhu Deva‘s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, the latter being for a cameo role.
