From being called a failed hero to becoming one of the most sought-after character artistes, Jagapathi Babu has come quite a long way. In the second innings of his career, he has been open to experimentation and has taken up a variety of roles. The latest in that regard is his venture into a web series for the first time in his career.

Titled Gangstars, this will be the first time a renowned Telugu star ventures into the digital space. Apparently, Jagapathi Babu was blown away by the content of the show and decided to be a part of it. The show, which is set to be aired on Amazon Prime soon, will see the actor as K.D.
Interestingly, well-known Telugu film director Nandini Reddy has penned the script for the series. The filmmaker has taken a keen interest in digital space in the recent times and has collaborated with Vyjayanthi Movies (who produced the latest sensation Mahanati) for all the series she has been a part of, including this one.
Helmed by Dhada director Ajay Bhuyan, the project also has Siddu Jonnalagadda, Posani Krishna Murali and Hari Tej amongst others in the cast.
