As reported earlier, actor Jayam Ravi and actress Lakshmi Menon will be joining hands for the first time in director Shakthi Soundar Rajan’s upcoming film Miruthan.
The first schedule of the movie, which went on for a month, was shot in Ooty. The second schedule is all set to commence on September 18 in Chennai, and later, the team will move to Hyderabad. Reportedly, Miruthan team is planning to wrap up the shoot in October.

An official press release from the team stated that Miruthan would be a ‘clean entertainer’, without any smoking or drinking scene.
The film is produced by S Micheal Rayappan of Global Infotainment, who has previously funded projects like Nadodigal, Goripalayam and Pattathu Yaanai.
Miruthan feautres baby Anikha, Kaali Venkat, Sriman, RNR Manohar, Saatai Ravi and Amit Bhargav in supporting roles. A D Imman musical, the film’s audio album has two songs crooned by singers Vishal Dadlani and Shreya Ghoshal.
