Jayasurya has announced his next project with director Midhun Manuel Thomas. It is titled Turbo Peter, and the actor shared the poster of the film on his Facebook account.
Midhun Manuel, who started off his career as a scriptwriter for Om Shanthi Oshaana, wrote and directed 2015’s Aadu. Though a commercial failure in theatres, the movie was appreciated once the DVDs came out; subsequently, Jayasurya’s character ‘Shaji Pappan’ went on to become a rage among viewers.
Hence, it was only natural for the actor to mention his character from that movie while announcing his new project.
Unlike the original, Aadu 2, which released last year, went on to become a huge success. Following this, the makers have already announced a third part. Aadu 3 will be shot in 3D and is slated for a Christmas release next year. Midhun Manuel Thomas has been a part of successful movies such as Ann Mariya Kalippilaanu in the past.
