Jithan 2, the sequel to the 2005 release Jithan, starring Jeeva’s brother Ramesh, has a host of familiar faces among its cast. Actress Iniya will play a pivotal role in the film alongside veteran artists Thambi Ramaiah, Jayaprakash and Mayilsamy. VTV Ganesh will play a comic role while actress Sona Heiden makes a fleeting appearance. Ramesh again essays the lead role here opposite debutante Shruti. The project is directed by management graduate Rahul Paramahamsa and has been written by Vincent Selva, who helmed the first film.
Jithan-2 team kickstarted the publicity a few days back with a couple of posters. The filming is almost over and is likely to be wrapped up by the end of this month. Srikanth Deva has composed the soundtrack for this project and the audio will be launched soon.
