Actress Jyothika has returned to acting, after a gap of nearly 10 years. The actress-turned-star wife has signed on to star in the Tamil remake of the hit Malayalam film How Old Are You?

The project will be produced by 2D Entertainment, Suriya’s own production house. Rosshan Andrews, the man behind the original, will direct the remake while Jyothika will play the female lead. The pooja for the film will happen soon, following which the shooting will begin in earnest.
Jyothika quit her acting career after getting married to Suriya in the year 2006. Rumours were rife about the actress making a after Suriya’s statement during a recent interview.
