Debutant actor Kesavan, whose first Kollywood release will be Ka Ka Ka Po, died in Malaysia on Saturday at approximately 6 pm. Kesavan was visiting the Lubuk Degong Waterfalls in Bidor, Ipoh with his parents, when he accidentally slipped and fell into the waterfall, and was swept away by the current. The Malaysian police organised a search operation to rescue his mortal remains for the last rites. His body was recovered only at 8 am the next morning.
Shooting of Ka Ka Ka Po, directed by debutant director Vijay, has been completed and the film is in the post-production stage. The team issued a press release expressing their shock at the news. The audio had been scheduled for release this week.
