Kaaviya Thalaivan has wrapped up shoot. Actor Siddharth, in a post on his social media site, confirmed this and added that the post-production of the movie will begin from today. Also, the actor has been very vocal about his admiration for the movie’s director, Vasanthabalan and made it a point to thank him. “Thank you Vasanthabalan for your craft, your passion, and most of all, for your faith in me. Forever in your debt sir!” he posted.
The film also stars Prithviraj, Vedhika, Nasser and Thambi Ramaiah among others and also has the distinction of being Vasanthabalan’s most ambitious project till date. Produced by Varun Manian of Radiance Media and Sashikanth of Y Not Studios, Kaaviya Thalaivan is set to the music of Oscar winner AR Rahman; and the audio of the movie will be launched in Chennai soon. The project was originally scheduled for a summer 2014 release, but has now been postponed. An official release date will be announced soon.
