Kaaviyathalaivan, with its enagaging performances from the star cast, has been one of the most difficult films to edit, shared its editor KL Praveen. Speaking at a promotional event for the film, the award winning editor said, “Kaaviyathalaivan has a brilliant group of actors and technicians. Siddharth, Nasser and Prithviraj have given the best performance of their lives and it’s good for the film. But, very bad for me.” He said he faced a strange dilemma of deciding when and where to cut as the performances were too good to interrupt.
The audio of Kaaviyathalaivan was launched earlier this week and has garnered great reviews. Within minutes of its release, the album went on to top iTunes charts and has been holding its own till now. The music has been composed by AR Rahman with lyrics by Vaali and Pa Vijay.
