The photoshoot for Kabali, directed by Ranjith and starring Rajinikanth, began today at the AVM studios in Chennai. Dhansika, a crucial member of the cast, told the press that she had already completed her photoshoot, outfitted in casual clothing including jeans and salwars. The supporting cast for Kabali includes Radhika Apte, Prakash Raj, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Attakathi Dinesh. Kabali is set to be a story about an aging gangster, played by Rajinikanth. The film is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, and the technical team includes music director Santhosh Narayanan, editor Praveen KL and cinematographer Murali G Kabilan. Umadevi and Gaana Baala have written the lyrics for the film’s music. The team will begin a 60-day shooting schedule on September 17 in Malaysia, followed by other locations in Hong Kong, Thailand, and Chennai.
