Kabali Producer Says Deleted Scenes Will Be Released Tonight

Much to the delight of Superstar Rajinikanth’s fans, 2016’s biggest release will ring in the New Year with exclusive deleted scenes from Kabali. Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu tweeted to announce that the deleted scenes would be released on 31 December, 2016. The deleted scenes will include sequences featuring actors Dinesh and Dhansika.

The release of Thalaivar Rajnikanth’s Kabali was heralded by intense and unprecedented pre-release promotions. When the film’s trailer released earlier this year, it left many fans in a frenzy. Editor KL Praveen had cut the trailer in less than a day.

Kabali was well received by critics even though it didn’t feature Rajinikanth’s usual punch dialogues and songs. The movie also disappointed many hardcore Rajni fans as it did not cater to “mass” expectations on that front.

Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu has confirmed that there would be a sequel to the film. However there has been no official confirmation on the casting of the Superstar as yet.

Rajnikanth will next be seen in Shankar’s mega-budget film Robo 2.0, the sequel to Enthiran. Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the film while Akshay Kumar plays a negative role.
