Kai Neelam’s motion poster will be released in ten days. Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, the film is the second one in the trilogy. The movie is based on the concept that “plain cunning is not enough to escape from a difficult situation”. “A person should do whatever it takes to get out a bad thing…even if it means letting go of your pride,” Nalan said, talking about his film.
He had planned to release the motion poster early to drum up some interest in the film. “My debut movie got very good response from the audience, and this is an early gift of sorts to them.”

We hear that Gautham Karthik has been approached to play one of the male leads in the film. “Nothing has been confirmed yet. We have spoken to two actors and two actresses. They are yet to finalise, but I’m hopeful of a positive response.”
The project begins on December 13, and will have characters from Soodhu Kavvum making guest appearances. Santhosh Narayanan, who won acclaim for his quirky tunes in the first movie will be back for this one as well. Dinesh Krishnan will handle the cinematography and Leo John Paul has been retained as the editor. CV Kumar produces the film under his Thirukumaran Entertainment.
