Speaking to ANI News at Harper Bazar India’s book launch, she said, ” I am glad that the film is over and I had a great time shooting the film. I was little apprehensive about speaking Tamil, I was not sure whether I could do it or not and I have to say that Dhanush and Soundarya Rajinikanth were absolutely wonderful with me, around me and reassured me constantly that it’s working.”

Kajol plays a sophisticated businesswoman in the film. Unlike the first VIP film, which featured Amitash Pradhan as the villain, VIP 2 will reportedly have Kajol play the villain.
