Kalaiyarasan Denies Being Part of Rajini-Ranjith Film

Speculations were rife earlier today that Madras fame Kalaiyarasan might join hands with Pa. Ranjith for his next project with Rajinikanth. But when we contacted Kalaiyarasan for confirmation, he dismissed them as ‘just rumours’ and stated that he was not approached for the film.

Kalaiyarasan’s performance in Madras was widely praised.

The official announcement about this film came in early this month, and ever since, there has been a lot of speculation about the cast and plot. But as of now, there has not been any official announcement on the same.

The filming begins in August with a 60-day schedule in Malaysia, followed by other locations such as Hong Kong, Thailand and Chennai. Produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, the movie will have music composed by Santhosh Narayanan, editing by Praveen KL and cinematography by Murali G. Kabilan, Umadevi and Gaana Baala pen the lyrics for the songs.
